When we forget that we are united, and think that our healing is only about ourselves - we forget that our suffering is also others’ sufferings and our pain is God’s pain. 

Pain without God is just hurt and depletion. 

Pain with God has a purpose. 

On the other side of that obstacle is a proclamation of love.
